The 7^th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ARTS AND DESAIN EDUCATION  (ICADE)

"Exploring the Interconnectin of Arts and Design Technology and Creative Expression"

Indroduction 

The integration of arts with science and technology has given rise to the progress of education. Technologi recognizes the value of arts in fostering creativity, social inclusion, and sustainability. Rather than treating arts and sciences as separate domains, digital technology has given impact to encourages transdisciplinary configurations of interconnectivity of so many subjects of arts and design.

Interconnectivity itself has built a new era of community and learning spaces. In this context, the learning community plays an important role. They develop shared values and support inquiry around issues of concern. Digital learning spaces facilitate dialogue with new media in these communities. In addition, digital technology provides communication to understand the values, activities, and goals of educational paticipants. 

The intersection between art,education, and social-digital transformation is critical to the art and design ecosystem and the advancement of the social change it affects. In short, the interconnection between art, design, technology and education enriches our understanding of the world, fosters creativity, innovation, and can ultimately promote holistic learning.

The 7th International Conference on Art and Design Education (ICADE) is an annuak conferenceorganized by the Faculty of Art and Design Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. This conference will be held offline and onlline on September 25, 2024 at the Conference Room of the Graduate School Building of the University of Education Indonesia. ICADE's activities cover a wide range of topics in music, dance, theatre, visual arts, visual communication design, art education, film and television, and interdisciplinary arts fields.

The scope of conference activities will be addressed to art and design educators, art and design practitioners, who put forward innovations in the field of digital media and other subject which in their connectedness are available for the advancement of art and design education and greater social groth of the society.
